Simone de Haas is renowned for bringing the tools and techniques of the stage to the boardroom.
With over 30 years of experience both on-stage and off, as a respected actor and singer, as well as a director and choreographer, Simone remains at the forefront of the Queensland performance industry, notably as an award-winning Director, and the Sessional Lecturer in Acting for the Queensland Conservatorium’s Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) degree. She also trains actors in voice and monologue, as well as acting workshops and techniques for the full-time and part-time Film TV course developed by FilmTV Studio International, for their studios in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Simone has developed a specialised cutting-edge program for the corporate sphere, based on acting principles she uses to train her students. Despite never having been anyone but ourselves, it is astonishing how many of us fail to truly connect with who that actually is, and furthermore, how to allow others the experience of our authentic selves.
The Conscious Communicator creates the space to reveal our authentic selves when communicating, either in a sales meeting, or a presentation in front of an audience. It is an all-encompassing program for the entrepreneur, professional businessperson or speaker - anyone who wants to learn how to show up as themselves.
Working with both large and small groups, and also one-on-one, Simone is a qualified change catalyst, adept at creating personal transformation by empowering her clients through the creative arts. In either format, Simone uses techniques developed in the creative arts, and collaborates with you to get out of your head and into your heart; discover the power of authenticity; and build confidence, presence and connection.
